Longhorn Notes: NAP Client for XP SP2 Available
By jeffreycentex on Jul 18, 2006 in NAP
I don’t know how I missed this one when I started my long download of Build 5472 of Vista - but the Beta 2 release of the NAP (Network Access Protection) Client for Windows XP Service Pack 2 is available for download at Connect.
One feature that it doesn’t include is the 802.1x for wired/wireless connections, which is what I have been looking forward to. I’ll deploy it in my test environment and see how well it works.
Also available is the LLTD Responder for XP, which will allow XP machines to appear correctly in the Network Map.
Both were dated 7/12/06…

Hi, after searching endlessly for the relevant “connect” issue to apply to join, i have had no joy in finding the link for LTTD. Is there any chance you could email me a copy or place it on my webspace.
